Corrections Policy

We encourage readers to flag material errors. A correction request should identify the article, the disputed statement and, where possible, evidence supporting the proposed correction.

When a substantive error is confirmed, editors should correct the article promptly and add a correction or update notice explaining the material change. Minor spelling or formatting fixes that do not alter meaning may be corrected without a formal notice.
